Oracle India Pvt Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Oracle Corporation has announced the appointment of Mr Krishan Dhawan as its new Managing Director. According to the senior Vice-President of Oracle Asia Pacific, Mr Keith Budge, “Mr Dhawan brings with him more than 25 years of experience in the financial services and IT enabled services sector, having worked with Bank of America for 23 years across Asia Pacific and American markets.” He will succeed Mr Shekhar Dasgupta who is expected to leave after the end of May 2005 to pursue a career in academia after having worked with the company for more than 12 years. During this period, Mr Dasgupta would remain with Oracle India as an advisor to the company.
